I like this pair. It’s a music teacher and his student. The background is what you get if you mess your paint around after applying it to dry paper. I’m often frustrated in trying to get a smooth perfect wash, but find this sort of thing much more interesting to look at.

This warrior character fears his masculinity is being compromised by his having to ride a giant quarter-rabbit. But the villagers will probably be as terrified as ever. He should have and painted frightening runes on the sides of his mount, and tied victims’ skulls to the saddle, in order to increase the menacing effect.
